Presenter & Volunteer Information
Data Summit presenters will have the unique opportunity to provide their expertise to all LEAs across the state. If selected, you agree to share a copy of the presentation for posting on the Data Summit website, Mobile App and the DQN website, as well as being photographed during the summit.
Two presenters per session will have their registration fee covered (additional presenters – after the first two – must register and pay using the following link https://teampa.com/datasummit/
which includes Sunday night dinner, and Monday and Tuesday breakfasts and lunches (lodging not included – secure lodging at https://aws.passkey.com/go/DATASUMMIT2018
Presentations run for one hour; please bring along a copy of your presentation on a flash drive and allow time for Q&A at the end of your session.
Presenters will be notified by January 9, 2018, and final presentations will need to be provided to the Pennsylvania Department of Education by February 21.
Volunteers are required to participate in assignments from Sunday through Wednesday. Also if available, we request additional help on Saturday evening. As a volunteer, you will be assigned at least three out of the four Workshop Sessions both Monday and Tuesday, and two out of three on Wednesday.
There are a variety of volunteer tasks including keynote and session facilitation, running the Information Desk, and working as a room runner. There will be several meetings leading up to the Data Summit that the selected volunteers will be expected to attend via phone, webinar, or in person.
Volunteers will be notified of their selection by December 8, 2018, and the first meeting will be help via conference call the following week.
