Presenter & Volunteer Information
Data Summit presenters will have the unique opportunity to provide their expertise to all LEAs across the state. Submit presentation proposals
through Tuesday, January 8, 2019. If selected, you agree to share a copy of the presentation for posting on the Data Summit website, Mobile App, and the DQN website, as well as being photographed during the summit.
Selected presenters will now receive a discounted registration fee of $150 that two presenters per session can take advantage of. Additional presenters beyond the first two will be responsible for the full $350 registration fee, which includes the Sunday night keynote and dinner, all other meals, and breakout sessions (lodging not included – secure lodging
Presentations run for one hour; please bring along a copy of your presentation on a flash drive and allow time for Q&A at the end of your session.
Presenters will be notified by Wednesday, January 16, 2019, and final presentations will be due to the Pennsylvania Department of Education by Friday, February 21, 2019.
Volunteers are required to participate in assignments from Sunday through Wednesday. Also if available, we request additional help on Saturday evening. As a volunteer, you will be assigned at least three out of the four Workshop Sessions both Monday and Tuesday, and two out of three on Wednesday.
There are a variety of volunteer tasks including conference greeters, keynote and session facilitation, running the Information Desk, building the attendee bags, setting up and tearing down session rooms, room running, etc. There will be several meetings leading up to the Data Summit that the selected volunteers will be expected to attend via phone, webinar, or in person.
