Nurse Aide Training Program

Welcome to the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Nurse Aide Training Program. This section is designed for individuals interested in becoming a nurse aide in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and for nurse aide program instructors. Additional information may be obtained by e-mail ra-natcep@pa.gov.

To be eligible for permanent employment as a nurse aide and to have your name enrolled on the PA Nurse Aide Registry, you must successfully complete a PDE-approved nurse aide training program and pass the test.  Access the Approved Nurse Aide Training Program (PDF), select the program to attend and contact them directly for information regarding class start dates and fees.
