Trauma Informed Care Readiness - Evaluation Tools

Attitudes Related to Trauma Informed Care (ARTIC)
The ARTIC Scale, one of the first and most widely used tools available to measure TIC, has been administered globally to more than 20,000 professionals. The ARTIC Scale was developed by the Traumatic Stress Institute in partnership with Dr. Courtney N. Baker of Tulane University.

School Health Assessment and Performance Evaluation System (SHAPE)
Developed through partnerships with the National Center for School Mental Health, SHAPE offers district and school teams an evidence-informed tool to assess their trauma responsiveness in eight domains. The TRS-IA was co-developed by the NCTSN Treatment and Services Adaptation Center for Resilience, Hope, and Wellness in Schools and the NCSMH.

Midwest PBIS: Trauma
Resources include informed care policy reviews, resource mapping, trauma informed enhancements to tiered fidelity inventory, and fidelity tools.
