Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS)

The Pennsylvania Department of Education's statewide longitudinal data system is improving data capabilities by enhancing school districts' capacities to meet student-level data reporting requirements and provide robust decision support tools. PIMS is based on open internet standards that enable sharing among diverse, otherwise incompatible systems and includes safeguards for data quality and security.


If you have a question that is not answered in the FAQ list or Knowledge Base, click the Help Request Form link to submit a help request to the PIMS Help Desk. The form lets you provide a detailed description of your issue or question.

Please be sure to complete all fields on the form. This lets us contact you directly, if necessary, and help expedite the support process. This information will also be used to determine what additional training and support services might be needed.

After you submit your help request, you will receive an immediate automated confirmation of your request with a ticket number for future reference.

PIMS Question and Answer Webinar

The PIMS Q & A Sessions are now scheduled weekly, every Thursday from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM.

The Data Quality Office will provide connection information via email to PIMS Administrators.  The meeting ID & password may only be shared within your LEA and is not to be published on a publicly accessible web site.  This meeting ID & password are unique for each session.

For mobile users a Zoom App is available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
