CSPG 103 - Staff Adult Instruction and Classes Enrolling Both School-Aged and Adult Students

- Certification is not required of staff providing adult education except when both school-aged students attending public schools and adult students are enrolled collectively and when the class is considered as being part of the public school curriculum and there is a provision for the awarding of academic credit for the public school students.
- Residents of state-owned institutions such as correctional facilities shall be taught by properly certificated persons when they are:
- Under age 21, and
- Not a high school graduate or not holding an equivalency certificate at that level.
Note: This requirement includes contracted educational services when purchased by a public school entity from a Pennsylvania licensed private school.
