Ask teachers and administrators what challenges they face when implementing data meetings, most will respond with "where and how do we find the time?" This session will provide participants the opportunity to share common ideas and practices about how to find time for data meetings at three levels – school, grade/content, and classroom/student. Join this session to hear about how several PA educators have "found the time" for data meetings. The Human Capital Retention Dashboard in PVAAS provides educators with a new perspective on staff data. Through multiple views of PVAAS teacher-specific data, an administrator can look for trends in staff data, based on student growth. This data, along with other sources, can help answer such questions as: "Are we retaining our teachers showing high growth with students? Who should mentor our newest hires? Which programs show stable staffing trends? And how can we leverage our strengths to support educators?" Join us to learn how this reporting can support your plan for the development of a school's greatest resource – its educators!
